100mm Flue Pipe Diameter = 9 metres minus any bends
125mm Flue Pipe Diameter = 12 metres minus any bends
100mm Flue Pipe Diameter = 12 metres minus any bends

Answer: 1.5 metres needs to be deducted for every 90 degree flue bend.
Example Horizontal Flue: If there is 1 x 90 degree flue bend needed for the installation, the maximum horizontal flue length would be reduced to 7.5 metres.
Example Vertical Flue: If there are 4 x 90 degree flue bends needed for the installation, the maximum horizontal flue length would be reduced to 6.0 metres.
Top Tip! For longer flue runs, increase the flue pipe size diameter from the standard 100mm to 125mm.
Answer: 0.5 metres needs to be deducted for every 45 degree flue bend.
Example Horizontal Flue: If there is 1 x 45 degree flue bend needed for the installation, the maximum horizontal flue length would be reduced to 8.5 metres.
Example Vertical Flue: If there are 2 x 45 degree flue bends needed for the installation, the maximum vertical flue length would be reduced to 11.0 metres.
Top Tip! For longer flue runs, increase the flue pipe size diameter from the standard 100mm to 125mm.
