Combi Save

Save water, money, and time by installing a CombiSave in your home

Save money on your energy bills by fitting a valve that’s thermostatically controlled to restrict water until it’s up to the right temperature?
View all the benefits below…

HOW DOES COMBISAVE ACTUALLY WORK?

Essentially, a CombiSave restricts the flow of water during your combi boiler’s initial firing process until it reaches a set temperature. But it also accelerates the heating of the water, at the same time reducing the amount of fuel required - pretty smart, eh?

Once the water reaches the right temperature, the valve opens fully and allows the water to flow through the system, so you’ll have exactly the same flow rate as you’re used to in your home. Plus, it’ll save you an average of eight litres of water every time you turn the tap on from cold.

You don’t even need a new combi boiler to fit a CombiSave; it can be fitted to older models, so it’s a great way of immediately making your home energy efficient, without breaking the bank in the process.

COST EFFECTIVE TO INSTALL

A CombiSave can be installed in your home during a standard one-hour visit for only £149.99 inc. VAT. So, installing one alongside your new boiler seems like a bit of a no-brainer.

WHY WE’RE COMMITTED TO INSTALLING COMBISAVES IN EDINBURGH HOMES

Did you know: A CombiSave could save the average four- person household as much as 28,000 litres of water per year? That’s the equivalent of 2,350 bathtubs!

Here at Celsius, we have now committed to helping our customers save 10 million litres of water in Edinburgh, the Lothians, Fife and the Borders over the next two years. That’s the equivalent of four Olympic swimming pools!

Looking at the even bigger picture, a CombiSave fitted in 50,000 homes could save a whole reservoir of water every year, as well as 65,000 tonnes of CO2.

If you really want to reduce your carbon footprint, installing a CombiSave with your boiler is a great way to get there. It’ll restrict the flow to your taps until your boiler is up to temperature - wasting much less water and reducing your carbon footprint.

Pssst! If you’re on a water meter, or if there’s a long hot water run for your home (for example, if the boiler is on the top or bottom floor of a multi-storey house) it could save you a significant amount on your energy bills.
